What is redDNA™?
Each batch of redDNA™ contains a unique encrypted biosynthetic tag. Once purchased, each batch, whether a spray canister or a pot of grease or gel, is registered to an individual user and location.
redDNA™ contains a red dye which remains on the skin and clothing for several days, and an indelible UV dye which can only be seen under UV light. It is this which contains the encrypted biosynthetic tag. Once the redDNA™ trace has been swabbed and tested, the unique tad means that it can be linked back to the crime scene. redDNA™ is also available as a invisible covert solution, without the coloured dye.
redDNA™ provides irrefutable evidence linking the criminal to the crime scene. To date we have secured many hundreds of detections and gained convictions solely on the evidence of our technologies.
How they work
redDNA™ Gel and redDNA™ Grease both contain redDNA™. When applied to items or surfaces they provide a redDNA™ tag which helps to identify the item by linking it to a single location. This is because the redDNA™ in each pot of redDNA™ Grease or redDNA™ Gel contains a unique biosynthetic code which is registered to your address. In the event of a theft police officers can scan the redDNA™ tag on stolen goods, identify the owner, and return them.
What makes this property marking system different from other redDNA™ products is, that the gel or grease enables the invisible redDNA™ tag to transfer onto the clothing or skin of anyone who touches it. Although the tag is invisible in ordinary light, police officers can use a UV black light torch to scan the suspect and prove that they were at the crime scene. redDNA™ can be used as evidence to help secure a conviction.
Displaying signage warning thieves that redDNA™ products are in use on your premises can also act as a deterrent.

Smokecloak
