All DLS alarms are monitored via a telephone line to our professionally manned UK based alarm receiving centre, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, ensuring that your alarm won't be ignored giving you complete peace of mind.
DLS Always There
If an DLS alarm is triggered it will alert our Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). Once the alarm is confirmed (we filter out flase alarms) the ARC will contact the emergency services and/or a nominated keyholder. The level of response depends on the monitoring contract.
DLS Monitoring Contracts
The way DLS deals with your emergency is determined by the level of alarm system monitoring selected for that property.
Emergency Services Response - In the event of an emergency our alarm receiving centre will alert the appropriate service (Police or Fire), your key-holders and you.
Keyholder Response - In the event of an emergency our alarm system monitoring centre will alert your key-holders and you.
To reduce false alarms, the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) regulations state that an alarm signal must be confirmed before it is passed to the police. An alarm activation from 2 or more independent sensors or detectors will confirm an alarm signal.
Maintenance
DLS monitored home security systems are fully serviced and maintained by our professionally trained engineers and now offer either Remote Engineering Support (RES) or 24 hour telephone support.
